Need to program or reprogram your Toyota Tundra truck remote key fob on a 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 or 2006? Well here is step by step instructions to fix your car key remote new or used.

This Tundra programing guide for your key remote may seen a bit long but you must follow every step to sync up the key fob to the truck.

1. Hold the key in your hand, drivers door is open all others closed and
drivers door is unlocked.

2. Complete these steps within 5 seconds.
A. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.
B. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.

3. Complete these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Close then open the drivers door.
B. Close then open the drivers door.
C. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.

4. Complete these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Close then open the drivers door.
B. Close then open the drivers door.
C. Insert the key into ignition and leave it in ignition.
D. Close the drivers door.
E. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start) then back to OFF.
F. Remove the key from the ignition.

5. In less then 4 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically
indicating successful entry into programming mode.
Return to step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point.

6. Complete these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remtoe simutaneously for 1.5 seconds.
B. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons,
Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door
locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. If
the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps A and B in step 6 as the remote was
not accepted.
C. Repeat steps A and B in step 6 for each new remote.

7. Open drivers door.

This will program all Toyota Tundra remotes from 2000-2006 and many other universal programmable keyless entry remotes.

Here is a very simple and inexpensive way to fix the broken latch for the rear side windows of your 2000-2006 Toyota Tundra or Tacoma.

This Tundra window fix worked for me for many years on the side windows of my 2003 access cab. Best thing is that it cost less than 25 cents.

This zip tie fix will only work if you have one side of the broken window hinge still attached to the truck. Just take a strong nylon zip tie wrap around the two window latch pins. Slowly tighten the zip tie down while holding the broken plastic connector in it’s normal alignment to the latch pins. Once pulled tightly down, slide the connector end of the tie to the far side as to not restrict the latch from closing.

Your Toyota pop out window will now close just like it was new again. Even with normal use I only replace the zip tie once in five years. I hope this helps someone with a out of a jam.

Most late model Honda cars and vans come with a theft deterrent radio. If your auto’s battery goes dead or the radio loses power for any extended time you will need the radio code for your individual auto.

Many Honda’s have the radio code on a sticker in the side of the glove compartment. Mostly the radio code is on the outside left when you open it up. You will find two numbers on the sticker - you want the one with 5 digits.

If the radio code is not there then check your owners manual in front, back and the radio section to see if it has been written in there by the Honda dealer. IF not found, copy the VIN number and call the dealer, he will give the information to the manufacturer and they will give him your code.

When you turn on your radio after reconnecting the battery you will get a “code” message. Just punch in your newly found number and you should be good to go.
